What is Paid Network made of? — The backdoor Crypto Hack.

PAID NETWORK , from what they say, was hacked yesterday, although a few people also say that this could only be an inside job since whoever minted hundreds of thousands of PAID tokens, had to have access to the private key of the contract, to do what they did!

The contract, in fact, was not clean to start with! They had left a backdoor open to mint as many tokens as they wanted, and of course there was a tweet warning about this backdoor in January that no one took seriously!

Well there we go, here are the results now! Many, recent people, paid between $2.5 to $5 in just the last couple of weeks , for something that in a few minutes has become worthless!

Paid has assured their “community” that they will do right by them, but so far this has only been empty talks as far as I am concerned! Paid needs to tell their “investors” what concrete steps they will take NOW, and reimburse them for the harm their leaving a backdoor in their code has caused! Why did they even have that function call to mint unlimited amounts there? From the get go, this was not right and should not have been in the code! They need to accept responsibility for their negligence!

This is crypto wild west, I do understand, but although I actually like their CEO Kyle Chassé, I really believe we need to see concrete actions now, not just making the investors be patient with words that are not precise!

Again, I did like PAID and their network, so I am leaving this at what I wrote above, hoping they will do the right thing.
